Dear Mr. Ali, how are you?
I was really pleased after checking the poster and the website! Thank
you for everything!
I hope you received my last e-mail I sent you right after I came back to
Brazil. Since then, things are still adjusting for me here. I spent a
month at my parent's home. This year, both of my parents are becoming 50
years old, so there was some nice comemorations here in my house.
I also have done 7 presentations in different Rotary and Interact clubs
about Turkey and the Turkish R.C. Graduate Scholarship Program. Some
pictures are also attached here. People really liked the presentations,
and I'll also do that in universities in Curitiba.
After that I came back to Curitiba, in order to arrange the things there.
I already contacted two universities who invited me to be instructor
there.
But I really want also to direct myself in politics here, either in
consulates either in government offices. But here in Brazil we are in
national elections period, so this is a really intable time to get
something that I can be sure about. So I'll wait till the end of this
month.
The climate in Brazil has been crazy, as usual. I arrived in the middle
of the winter and it was warm and really dry. We had passed through some
really hard times because of this dry weather. But then, when the winter
was supposed to end in September, it started to get freezing and then
finally it started to rain a lot.
Well, I'll also attach some pictures from me and my family and friends
in this e-mail.
Hope to have news from you! How is Bora?

I went for some job interviews and what I heard
was that "I was too good to apply for those jobs".
I've been participating at a series of
interviews at Exxon Mobil, I'm already on my 4th interview. And I'm
confident I'll pass to the next one.
I really miss everything about Turkey. And I
continue to 'spread' your culture here. Next week there will be another
speech on a Rotary Club here in Curitiba, this will be my 10th since I
came back. All my friends, when they come to my house feel like they are
in Turkey, since I could do a really nice decoration with Turkish
objects.
My mom was visiting me during last week, and
can you believe yesterday she came home with her own nargile? She said
she wanted one for herself, and she bought it at the store I asked her
to buy me some tobacco for my nargile.
And I found a place here in Curitiba where I
can buy baklava! There will come a day I'll be able to eat Iskender here,
inshallah.
